How to Reset Your Network Settings
26
September

A network reset removes saved Wi-Fi networks, VPN settings, and network adapters, then restores factory defaults. Try this step after a normal restart fails.

You need to rejoin Wi-Fi networks afterward. Have your Wi-Fi password ready.

Windows 11

  1. Open Settings, then Network & internet.
  2. Select Advanced network settings, then Network reset.
  3. Select Reset now and confirm. Your PC restarts.

iPhone

  1. Open Settings, then General.
  2. Select Transfer or Reset iPhone, then Reset.
  3. Choose Reset Network Settings and enter your passcode.

Android

  1. Open Settings, then System.
  2. Select Reset options.
  3. Choose Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth. Samsung phones list this under General management.

Still offline? The problem sits in your router or with your internet provider. Our Wi-Fi & Network Troubleshooting service tracks down the cause.
