Service Options

Remote, Drop-Off, On-Location, and Tech-Valet+ service explained.

What service options do you offer?

You choose how we work on your device. We offer four service options, and each one follows the same process: a free consultation, a clear quote, and your approval before any paid work starts.

  • Remote Support. We connect to your computer over the internet with TeamViewer QuickSupport. You stay home and watch the work on your screen.
  • Drop-Off Service. You bring your device to our office in Lisbon, NH, by appointment. We call you once the work is done.
  • On-Location Service. A technician comes to your home or business.
  • Tech-Valet+. We pick up your device and bring the finished device back to you.

Unsure which option fits? Call (844) 320-3300 any time, 24/7. We talk through the problem and recommend the best fit.

How does Remote Support work?

Remote Support fixes software problems without a trip. Your computer needs power and a working internet connection.

  1. Call (844) 320-3300 and describe the problem.
  2. Download and open TeamViewer QuickSupport. Our How-To Guides walk you through the steps.
  3. Read your ID and password to the technician on the phone. You approve the connection.
  4. Watch the work on your screen. Ask questions as we go.
  5. Close QuickSupport to end the session at any point.

Good fits for Remote Support: slow computers, pop-ups and malware cleanup, software installs, email and account setup, and printer driver problems.

Share your QuickSupport details only with a technician you reached through (844) 320-3300 or support@uvadvance.com. Never share them with a caller you did not contact first.
How does Drop-Off Service work?

Drop-Off Service works well for hardware repairs, upgrades, and jobs needing several hours of testing.

  1. Call (844) 320-3300 or email support@uvadvance.com to set an appointment. Our office in Lisbon, NH, sees clients by appointment only.
  2. Bring the device, the charger, and any passwords we need.
  3. We check the device in and assess the problem.
  4. You get a clear quote. No paid work starts until you approve the quote.
  5. We call you once the device is ready for pickup.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm, and Saturday, 8am to 12pm. Phone support runs 24/7.

Back up your files before drop-off if your device still turns on. See Appointments & Preparation for a quick checklist.
How does On-Location Service work?

On-Location Service brings a technician to your door. This option suits work tied to your space, such as Wi-Fi, routers, printers, cameras, and smart home devices.

  1. Call (844) 320-3300 for your free consultation.
  2. We set a visit time and send a quote. The quote lists any travel, mileage, or on-site fees before you approve.
  3. The technician arrives, confirms the plan with you, and gets to work.
  4. Before leaving, we test the fix with you and answer your questions.

Our On-Site Technology Support starts at $50. See every price on our Services & Pricing page.

What is Tech-Valet+?

Tech-Valet+ gives you shop-level service without the drive. We pick up your device, complete the work at our shop, and return the device to you.

  1. Call (844) 320-3300 to book your free consultation and choose Tech-Valet+.
  2. We schedule a pickup time and give you a quote, including any pickup and delivery fees.
  3. We collect the device and assess the problem.
  4. You approve the final quote, and we complete the work.
  5. We deliver the device and walk you through what changed.

Tech-Valet+ fits busy schedules, home offices, and anyone who prefers to stay home.
