Service Options
Remote, Drop-Off, On-Location, and Tech-Valet+ service explained.
What service options do you offer?
You choose how we work on your device. We offer four service options, and each one follows the same process: a free consultation, a clear quote, and your approval before any paid work starts.
- Remote Support. We connect to your computer over the internet with TeamViewer QuickSupport. You stay home and watch the work on your screen.
- Drop-Off Service. You bring your device to our office in Lisbon, NH, by appointment. We call you once the work is done.
- On-Location Service. A technician comes to your home or business.
- Tech-Valet+. We pick up your device and bring the finished device back to you.
Unsure which option fits? Call (844) 320-3300 any time, 24/7. We talk through the problem and recommend the best fit.
How does Remote Support work?
Remote Support fixes software problems without a trip. Your computer needs power and a working internet connection.
- Call (844) 320-3300 and describe the problem.
- Download and open TeamViewer QuickSupport. Our How-To Guides walk you through the steps.
- Read your ID and password to the technician on the phone. You approve the connection.
- Watch the work on your screen. Ask questions as we go.
- Close QuickSupport to end the session at any point.
Good fits for Remote Support: slow computers, pop-ups and malware cleanup, software installs, email and account setup, and printer driver problems.
How does Drop-Off Service work?
Drop-Off Service works well for hardware repairs, upgrades, and jobs needing several hours of testing.

- Bring the device, the charger, and any passwords we need.
- We check the device in and assess the problem.
- You get a clear quote. No paid work starts until you approve the quote.
- We call you once the device is ready for pickup.
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm, and Saturday, 8am to 12pm. Phone support runs 24/7.
How does On-Location Service work?
On-Location Service brings a technician to your door. This option suits work tied to your space, such as Wi-Fi, routers, printers, cameras, and smart home devices.
- Call (844) 320-3300 for your free consultation.
- We set a visit time and send a quote. The quote lists any travel, mileage, or on-site fees before you approve.
- The technician arrives, confirms the plan with you, and gets to work.
- Before leaving, we test the fix with you and answer your questions.
Our On-Site Technology Support starts at $50. See every price on our Services & Pricing page.

Appointments & Preparation
Get ready for your appointment and learn where and when we work.
How do I get ready for my appointment?
A little prep makes your appointment faster. Use this checklist before any service.
- Back up your files. Copy photos, documents, and other important files to an external drive or cloud storage.
- Gather passwords. Have your device login, Wi-Fi password, and email password ready.
- Charge the device and bring the charger for drop-off or pickup.
- Write down the problem. Note error messages, when the issue started, and recent changes.
- Have your device details ready. Make, model, and operating system help us quote faster.
Do I need to know what is wrong with my device?
No. Most people call us with symptoms, not a diagnosis. Tell us what you see, and we handle the rest.
During your free consultation, we ask a few questions and assess the device when needed. Then we explain the problem and your options in plain language.
Already know the service you want? Tell us, and we put together a quote from your device details.
Start with a call to (844) 320-3300, available 24/7.
Should I back up my data before service?
Yes. We handle your device with care, but aging drives and existing faults sometimes fail during testing. A backup keeps your files safe no matter what.
Simple backup options
- Windows: Copy your Documents, Pictures, and Desktop folders to an external drive, or turn on OneDrive backup.
- Mac: Use Time Machine with an external drive, or iCloud Drive.
- iPhone and Android: Turn on iCloud Backup or Google One backup.
Device not turning on? Tell us during your consultation. We explain your data options before any work begins.
Where are you located, and when are you available?
Our office is in Lisbon, New Hampshire. We see clients by appointment only.
Mailing address: P.O. Box 112, Lisbon, NH 03585
Prefer service at home? Choose Remote, On-Location, or Tech-Valet+.

How does your pricing work?
We list flat-rate prices for most services on our Services & Pricing page. No surprise charges.
- We assess your device and recommend a service.
- You receive a quote, called a Service Order, with the scope and price.
- You approve the quote before paid work starts.
- If we find a new problem during the job, we stop and ask before doing extra work.
Parts, software licenses, and third-party charges appear as separate lines on your quote.
Full details live in our Technology Services Agreement.
When is payment due, and how do I pay?
Payment is due on the date shown on your Service Order or invoice. With no date listed, payment is due once we complete the approved work.
- Your invoice or checkout page lists the payment methods we accept.
- Parts, hardware, software, and special orders need payment in advance.
- Questions about a bill? Email support@uvadvance.com with your invoice number.
Our Technology Services Agreement covers payment terms in full.
Why do parts and software need payment up front?
Parts, hardware, software licenses, subscriptions, and special-order items come from outside vendors. We buy them for your specific job, so we collect payment before ordering.
These items follow the manufacturer or vendor warranty and return rules. We explain those rules on your quote.
Questions about a part? Call (844) 320-3300 before you approve the quote.
How do coupons and promotions work?
Coupons lower the labor price on an eligible service. Here are the key rules.
- Share the code before you approve service. We do not apply codes after the work is done.
- One coupon per client and per household, on one transaction.
- Coupons do not combine with other coupons, discounts, or promotions. The coupon itself lists any exception.
- Coupons cover labor only. Parts, software, travel, on-site fees, and taxes are excluded.
- Coupons have no cash value.
Read the full Coupon Use and Exclusions Policy, and see current offers on our Savings & Promotions page.
